Harbour Dance Field Trip: TBA (end of October)
Works in Progress Dress Rehearsal: Nov. 18, 2009: 3-4pm
Works in Progress Show: Nov. 19, 2009: 5:45-8pm - students/ 6:45 - 8pm family members only. By donation at the door. I will be greeting parents at the door. This performance is for family members only so we can show you what we have been working on in a safe learning environment.
Evolution Dance Competition at Lord Tweedsmuir: Nov. 28, 2009: 1-5:30pm - students will have to arrive earlier: TBA. All dance teams participating. Tickets will be available in advance for $10 until Nov. 27 and $15 at the door.
Yoga Field Trip: TBA (December)
Dance Festival at the Bell Centre: Jan. 8, 2009: during school day for dance classes only. Free for audience members.
Semester 1 Dance Show Dress Rehearsal: Jan. 8, 2009: 3-5pm
I need a $150.00 payment (refundable until September 15, 2009) at the meeting to secure a seat for the trip. Only 50 seats are available. The LTSS Cheer Team and Dance Team are going as well. Here are the payment options for the Aloha International Spirit Championship Dance and Cheer Competition February 16 – 21, 2010 in Honolulu, Hawaii. All cheques are to be made out to LTSS (Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary School). Please choose only one Payment Schedule.
Cost of Trip ($1699) with Medical and Cancellation ($66.40) is $1765.40
Please make sure you have a VAILD PASSPORT I also need a photocopy

Congratulations dancers! Please watch the first meeting YouTube with your parents and respond on the blog. This will be your acceptance of the dance team contract. Also, make sure you have filled in and e-mailed the dance contact and health information or any changes. Auditions for those who missed these auditions will be the first week of practices.
It is show time! This Friday, June 5 from 3-5pm we have our dress rehearsal. Please make sure your student is comes to school prepared with their costumes and enough food and water to get them through till 5pm. This is a mandatory rehearsal. Students who do not attend that dress rehearsal will not be in the show.
Thursday, June 11 is the final show. Students are to be here at 5:45pm. Please make sure they have all of their costumes and water. The doors will open for the audience at 6:45pm and the show will start promptly at 7:00pm. The show should run till about 8:30-8:45pm. This show is mandatory for dance students. If students missed the dress rehearsal they are still required to come to the dance show and help out.
Tickets are $5 each and will be for sale at lunch time and after school from Ms. J in the dance office starting Monday, June 8.
